Writing Babbles

These sketches, ink drawings and pencil drawings are steps in the visual research process in which I was looking for shapes to represent infant speech development. Among others, I collected shapes from archeology books and geometric stencils, tried out pseudo-writing and searched for shapes intuitively that could show how pre-verbal vocalizations sound and feel like.
