kneading vocals
When observing how babies shape the sounds in their first attempts to speak, it might seem that using clay is a more appropriate medium to represent this than drawing or writing. Sounds come out in all shapes and forms, and they are kneaded as they are pronounced, worked and re-worked over and over again. This series of ceramics attempts to grasp this process of shaping sounds: trying hard to give form to them and while ending up with abstract forms, creating something intriguing and mysterious.
